Cape Cod Marathon Weekend Events

The Cape Cod Marathon Weekend, presented by Shipwrecked and produced by the Falmouth Running Club, offers a variety of races for all levels. The event includes a Marathon, a Marathon Relay, a Half Marathon, and a 5k. Special challenges include the Clam Chowdah Challenge (Marathon + Half Marathon) and the Lobstah Challenge (Half Marathon + 5k).

Courses run along Vineyard Sound and beautiful coastal roads, offering scenic views. Please note that courses are open to traffic but are monitored by police, flaggers, and volunteers.

Race Day Schedule:

Saturday, October 10, 2026: Half Marathon (8:00 AM EDT), Chowdah Challenge Day 1 (8:00 AM EDT), Lobstah Challenge Day 1 (8:00 AM EDT)
Sunday, October 11, 2026: Marathon (8:00 AM EDT), Chowdah Challenge Day 2 (8:00 AM EDT), Marathon Relay (8:00 AM EDT), 5k (8:15 AM EDT), Lobstah Challenge Day 2 (8:15 AM EDT), Kids' Fun Run (9:15 AM EDT)

The Cape Cod Marathon has been named the BEST MARATHON in Massachusetts.
