About the Event
Virtual Options Available
The virtual event is scheduled for October 1-31, 2026. There is also a separate registration page for an in-person option October 24 in Seattle at Carkeek Park.
Epic Loops
The original Carkeek and Cottontail races take place on a 1.93-mile loop with 436' gain per loop. The runner with the virtual run most closely mirroring the original Carkeek loop will win a special prize.
Affordable Fundraiser for Northwest Trails
The 6-Hour AND 12-Hour virtual events are priced at $35. Nearly all registration fees go back to trail work and advocacy through the 501(c)3 nonprofit Endless Trails. Additional tax-deductible donations can be made during registration.
Run Club Competition
New in 2026, a series-wide run club competition will be added. Run club members can register their club, and their miles will count towards the club's total. A trophy will be awarded at year's end.
