Welcome to the Casual Hikers 10k Walk/Run! This event is designed for participants to explore nature and experience new places while forming lasting connections. It's a fun, no-fuss adventure for those who enjoy hiking, paddling, or simply enjoying scenic views.

Course Description

The course is a combination of Blue and Green Trails within the Nordic Trail System, totaling 6.3 miles (10.2 km). The race path will start and end at the Nordic trailhead parking lot, proceeding in a clockwise direction.

Fees and Registration

Prices vary based on registration date:

• Through April 3, 2026: $40
• April 4 to May 29, 2026: $50
• May 30 to July 3, 2026: $60
• July 4 to July 25, 2026: $70

A T-Shirt (polo or round neck) is available for purchase for $10.

Additional Information

• Park Entrance Fees: A discounted day-pass for August 1st can be purchased during registration.
• Charity: Twenty-five percent (25%) of all donations will be sent to The Salvation Army.
• Refreshments: Water refills and trail snacks will be available at no cost. This is a cup-less event; participants should bring their own bottle and/or water pack.
