Refund Policy: 75% refund of entry by May 19. No deferrals or bib transfers.

Course Description: The course is an out-and-back on rocky, slow, difficult, and demanding trails within Cunningham Falls State Park and Gambrill State Park. It features significant elevation changes and stream crossings. The Half Cat race starts at the 50k turnaround point and finishes at the same location as the 50k.

Mandatory Gear: All runners must carry at least one 20 oz water bottle, and two bottles are recommended. Hydration equipment must be presented at bib pickup.

Aid Stations: Fully stocked aid stations with water, sports drink, snacks, and electrolyte supplements. Three main aid stations with 6 opportunities for support, plus start/finish.

Crew Access: Crews are allowed at the Start/Finish (Manor), Hamburg Rd. Aid Station, and High Knob Aid Station. Crewing from other locations will result in disqualification.

Awards: Bragging rights and a "Cat or Half Cat Card" for finishers.

Post Race Eats: Catering by "aka Friscos" with sandwiches, potatoes, sides, watermelon, lemonade, and water. BYOB is permitted.

Donations: Proceeds support "The Friends of Gambrill and Cunningham State Parks" and the "City of Frederick" for trail maintenance.

Parking: Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Solo drivers will be charged $10 cash, with proceeds going to the Frederick Civitan Organization.

Sanitation: Bathrooms available at Manor and High Knob. Runners are reminded to leave no litter.
