Charm City Run 20-Miler

Join us Sunday, September 27, 2026, for the annual Charm City Run 20-Miler on the Torrey C. Brown (NCR) Trail. This race is perfect for runners training for a fall marathon. The course is loved for its gentle downhill profile, 6 aid stations along the way (PLUS indoor restrooms at Monkton Station!), and tree coverage almost the entire way. The NCR Trail is a hard-packed gravel surface.

Course Time Limit: 5 hours (15:00/mile)

Amenities: Race-themed shirts to all participants; medical coverage on course; water and electrolytes at designated sites; post-race refreshments at the finish line area. Runners are recommended to carry their own fluid replacement and/or energy supplement.

Packet Pickup:

• Saturday, September 26th from 10AM-1PM at Charm City Run - Timonium (1313 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093)
• Sunday, September 27th (Race Day) from 5:30AM-6:45 AM at Ashland Marketplace Shopping Center (11121 York Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030)

Virtual Race Information: A virtual race option is available. Race swag can be picked up or mailed. Results can be submitted by text message or email by September 27th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

Parking and Buses: There is no parking at the start of the race in Freeland, MD. Bus transportation is available from Ashland Marketplace to the start line for an additional fee. The first bus departs at 5:45 AM, with departures every 15 minutes.

Course Details: The NCR Trail is a hard-packed, dirt/gravel surface. The course starts near the Freeland NCR Trail parking area, runs briefly north, then south, with a turnaround point and finish line on Arrowood Road.

Awards: Charm City Run gift cards to top three male, female and non-binary finishers overall ($75, $50, $25); and top male and female masters ($50). Age group awards are also given.

Event Guidelines: No baby joggers, strollers, roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, or other pets allowed. Use of headphones is discouraged.
