Chasing Rabbits

Chasing Rabbits is an overnight Halloween themed trail race where participants complete as many 5-mile loops as possible within 12 hours. The course features rugged single track and gravel service roads with +800ft of elevation gain per loop.

Event Details

The event will take place at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation Camp Wheeler in Stanhope, NJ. Check-in starts at 7:00pm, with the race beginning at 8:00pm and ending at 8:00am the next day.

Course Information

The course is a 5 mile loop with Halloween theme displays, and racers will check in and out at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area after each loop.

Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up will be available at Root Runners on October 25th, 2024, from 3:00-5:00pm.

Additional Information

Participants are encouraged to bring a headlamp and spare batteries. Trekking poles are allowed, and crew support is available at the start/finish area. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
