The Child Abuse / Foster Care Awareness 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The Social Work Student organizations, Phi Alpha Honors Society, and Title IV-E program at California State University, Fresno are hosting this event. It aims to raise awareness about child abuse and Foster Care, while also incorporating a wellness component for families. The event seeks to advocate for child safety and foster care, support the well-being of families, caregivers, and foster youth, and promote self-care and resources for mental and physical well-being.

Proceeds will support next year's event, with the goal of making it an annual occurrence. A special pricing for children 9 and under is available at $25.00 (discount applied during check-out).
