The Christchurch Motorway Half Marathon is being held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, starting and finishing at the Canterbury A & P Park. This is an amazing course with no vehicles, allowing you to concentrate on your run or walk. Christchurch Motorway Half Marathon will cater for all runners; whether you’re a beginner or an elite runner, this fast-flat course will give you the opportunity to do one of the fastest half’s, 10km or 5km you’ve ever done. There will be a walking section in all 3 events (5km, 10km & Half Marathon), with the Kidz Dash being a 2km run.

• Wave 1 - 8:30am: All Walkers and Hybrid Participants
• Wave 2 - 9:00am: All Runners
• Wave 3 - 9:05am: The Kidz Dash 2km

About the Course: The course utilizes the Christchurch Southern Motorway's cycle and walking paths. Drink stations are located at approximately 4km, 9km, 12km, and 17km marks.
