The Columbia River Cross Channel Swim is on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Join us on the banks of the Columbia River this Labor Day weekend for an exhilarating open-water swim.
- Location: Cascade Locks Marine Park, 299 SW Portage Road, Cascade Locks, OR 97014
- Check-in: 6:00-7:15 AM
- Boat begins loading at 7:30 AM
- Swim Start: 8:00 AM

- Distance: Approximately 1.1 miles
For 81 years, swimmers have boarded the famous Sternwheeler paddleboat on the south shore of the Columbia River and are ferried across to the Washington side. A special swim lane lined with volunteers in sailboats, kayaks, and paddle boards will guide, encourage, and protect swimmers as they cross the channel.
