Crazy Desert Trail Race

Event Overview

The Crazy Desert Trail Race is an exciting endurance event featuring various distances including 100K, 50K, Marathon, 25K, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The race will take place at San Angelo State Park on March 8, 2025. Participants will be well-supported with aid stations every 4-5 miles offering a variety of refreshments.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Friday, 4-7 PM and Saturday, 5-9 AM
• 100K Start: 6:00 AM
• 50K Start: 7:00 AM
• Marathon Start: 7:15 AM
• 25K Start: 7:30 AM
• Half Marathon Start: 7:45 AM
• 10K Start: 8:00 AM
• 5K Start: 8:30 AM

Distances and Cutoffs

There is a 24-hour cutoff for the race. The distances are as follows:

• 100K - 3 x 20.7 miles
• 50K - 2 x 15.7 miles
• Marathon - 2 x 13.1 miles
• 25K - 1 x 15.7 miles
• Half Marathon - 1 x 13.1 miles
• 10K - 1 x 6.1 miles
• 5K - 1 x 3.1 miles

Awards

Awards will be given to the top finishers in each distance, including buckles for all 100K finishers and medals for all participants.
