Crofton Kiwanis/Team Surlis 10K Challenge & 5K Run

For over 35 years, the Crofton Kiwanis/Team Surlis 10K Challenge has been a great Race, open to all runners in our community! The 10K course goes around Crofton's tree-lined parkway loop and residential side streets, as shown on the map. Part of the course is flat with a few challenging hills. We added a 5K in 2018, which runs along the Crofton Parkway and measures a bit longer than 5K--closer to 5.3K. All abilities are welcome. Participants range from age 7 and up. Water is available at the start, finish, and at designated water stations. Course monitors, police, and medical support are on-site. Chip technology will provide instant results, and we will have pre- and post-race snacks and a medal ceremony following the Race.

The Registration area will open at 6:30 AM. Pre-registered runners will also be able to pick up their bibs and shirts before Race Day. The 10K will begin promptly at 8 AM, with the 5K immediately following. Results will be posted on active.com and www.croftonkiwanis.org. Tee shirts are guaranteed to only the first 250 registered runners. Proceeds go directly to community charities and projects by way of the Kiwanis Foundation of Crofton. Join us for this fun event!
