Crown Stub 100 - April 4, 2026

Welcome to Stub Stewart State Park, the home base for what aims to be one of the premier 100-mile Ultramarathons in the Pacific Northwest. The race features over 7,000ft of gain, utilizing the Banks Vernonia State Trail (asphalt), the Crown Zellerbach Trail (hard-packed gravel), and dirt trails within the park.

The course is a double out-and-back from the park, starting north on the Banks Vernonia Trail, looping through Vernonia, around Vernonia Lake, and linking up with the Crown Z Trail for approximately twenty miles east towards Scappoose before retracing steps. A second out-and-back on the Banks Vernonia Trail leads to Banks, followed by a return to Stub Stewart Park. The final lap involves the 6.5-mile Stub Stewart Trail Challenge course.

NEW in 2026: The Royal Ultra Relay

This new option allows participants to tackle the 100-mile journey with a companion. Teams can consist of two participants and one squire. Divisions include The Princes, The Princesses, and The Prince & Princess Division, with awards for creative team gimmicks.
