CWES - Baker's Dozen Mind/Body Challenge

Event Overview

The Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series presents a unique opportunity to participate in a multimedia adventure blogging contest that combines hiking and creativity. Participants can tackle the route itinerantly, creating their own adventure without the support of aid stations or course markings.

Location: Excelsior Pass Trailhead, Glacier, WA

Distance: 45K (~25 miles and 9,000 feet of elevation gain)

Challenge Elements

• Physical Challenge: Summit all 13 peaks on the Baker's Dozen Route.
• Cognitive Challenge: Read or listen to Tom Robbins' "Another Roadside Attraction" and relate your experience in your trip report.
