Event Details
The Devil’s Toll Race features a route from Taum Sauk Mountain, down to Mina Sauk Falls and through the scenic Devils’ Toll Gate. With a total elevation change of 1,400 feet over 13 miles, this event promises both beauty and challenge.
Participants can choose to join as solo runners or hikers, or form teams. This event is self-supported; hence, proper preparation is crucial.
Requirements
- Strong trail running shoes or hiking boots
- Bug spray
- Hydration packs with at least 2 liters of water
- Consider trekking poles for stability
- Food and electrolyte drinks for energy
Race Schedule
Packing Pickup:
- October 3rd from 5 PM to 8 PM
- Race Day – October 4th from 5:45 AM to 6:50 AM for hikers and 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM for runners.
The hike starts at 8 AM and the run starts at 10 AM. A cutoff time is enforced at 4 PM.
Awards and Registration
Entry fees are $87.94 for solo runners or hikers and $174.79 for two-person teams. All proceeds support the Ozark Trail Association.
