Dip n' Dash

Join us for the Dip n' Dash event at beautiful Alpine Lake in Innsbrook Resort! This event is perfect for both experienced swimmers and beginners. The morning starts with an open water practice from 8-8:50am, where you can swim the 750m course with buoys and lifeguards from BYLG. If you're new to open water swimming, there's an optional clinic at 8am led by Coach Sally.

After the practice, get ready for the main event - the Dip n' Dash! This is a swim/run race starting at 9am. The swim portion is 750m with an in-water wave start, followed by a 5k run. It's a fun and challenging race that will test your endurance and speed.

Finishers of the Dip n' Dash will receive a TYR mesh swim bag as a reward for their hard work. There will also be music and snacks at the finish line to celebrate your accomplishment. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the first place in each age group: <19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Not only will you have a great time at this event, but you'll also be supporting a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to Swim Across America - St. Louis, an organization that raises funds for cancer research through swimming events.
