Whether you’re gearing up for your first race, locking in a training run for a big fall marathon, or just want to cruise a gorgeous course, the DoLittle won’t disappoint. This stretch of the trail is scenic, smooth, and speedy — ideal for setting a PR or just enjoying the spring vibes. The course is laser-flat, lightning-fast, and fully certified, built to reward strong legs and smart pacing. It's also a dream for spectators, allowing them to cheer on participants up to eight times without moving, and then be at the start and finish line.

This USATF certified course uses the super flat and super fast Lake Country Trail.

Course Overview

• Marathon - 4 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
• Half Marathon - 2 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
• 10K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Hwy 67
• 5K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Silver Lake St

Spectator-Friendly & Split Tracking

With two dedicated spectator sections, supporters can see runners 8 times throughout the race. Live Split Tracking will be available with timing points at each turn and the halfway point. A Race Announcer will call out runners' names, and RaceJoy tracking will be available.

T-Shirts

Race shirts are gender-specific, dry-wick, and guaranteed for those registered by noon on August 29. Female shirts run small, so consider sizing up.

Aid Stations

There will be three aid stations on course: Lake Country Trail & Oconomowoc Parkway, Lake Country Trail & Silver Cedar Turn, and at the start/finish line. Aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, and energy gels. Self-serve aid stations are expected. On-course bag drop areas are available at Roosevelt Park and the intersection of The Lake Country Trail & Silver Cedar Rd.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top overall male and female runners in each distance receive a custom award.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers in 5-year age groups receive a custom woodle.
• Finisher Medal: Every participant receives a magnet woodle.
• The Average Joe & Jane Awards: Presented to the male and female runners who finish exactly in the middle of all registered participants.

Schedule

• Saturday, September 12th
• 6:45am: Packet pickup opens
• 7:00am: Early marathon start
• 8:00am: All races start
• 1:30pm: Course breakdown
• 2:00pm: Course closes

Early Start Option for Marathoners

Available for marathoners needing extra time. Early starters receive a chip time but are not eligible for age group awards. The course may not be fully set up, and it will remain open to the public.

Walkers Welcome!

Walkers are welcome to join any distance. The Walk Division is timed but not competitive, and there are no age group awards. Walkers receive a finisher woodle.

Day of Registration

Registration must be done electronically; paper registration is not available.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers receive a free entry to a future race. Sign up via the Volunteer link in the menu.

The Silver Circle Foundation, Inc. supports firefighters, police officers, veterans, and troops serving overseas.

Parking

Limited parking is available at the EB Shurts Building, with plenty of street parking nearby. Avoid parking on private property or in business lots.
