Donut Run

Join us for the Donut Run on Saturday, September 21, 2024, starting at 7:00 AM CT. This is not just a race; it's a fun and challenging event where participants will run 31.5 miles while enjoying stops at various donut shops along the way.

Event Details

The run begins at Donut Crazy in West Hartford, where participants will eat a donut before starting their journey. The course includes stops at KING Donut in Newington, Swiches in Berlin, Neil's in Wallingford, and Whitney Donut in Hamden. The goal is to complete the run in under 7 hours, maintaining a pace of 13:20 per mile.

Fundraising for a Cause

This event is not only about running; it's also a fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society. Both race directors, Jimmy McCaffrey and Bill Odendahl, have personal connections to cancer and are dedicated to raising funds to support those affected by this disease.

Registration Information

Registration is limited to 24 spots and closes on September 18, 2024. The registration fee is $82.68, which includes taxes and fees. Participants are encouraged to train and prepare for this unique challenge.
