What is an EAGLE'S BACKYARD ULTRA? All participants must complete a 6.7km loop every hour until the runner exceeds the allotted time or decides not to start another loop. All runners who do not complete a loop receive a DNF mention, and the winner is named when only one runner completes a loop.

Official Race Rules

• All participants must complete the 6.7km loops in less than 60 minutes.
• Each participant is allowed a maximum of one "crew" member, who cannot be replaced once the race has started.
• No assistance can be provided to the runner once their loop has begun.
• The runner must not leave the course under any circumstances during their loop, except to go to the restroom.
• The runner must be in the starting area before the start of the next loop.
• The runner must always start with their bib/bracelet/anklet.
• No attempt at cheating or taking shortcuts on the loop will be tolerated.
• Once their loop is completed, the runner is free to go to the "rest area" and benefit from their "crew's" assistance.
• No spectators will be admitted to the rest area, but they can encourage runners on the course.
• Any rule not respected will lead to the disqualification of the runner.

• 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM: Bib pickup and runner setup in the rest area.
• 5:30 PM: Pre-race meeting.
• 6:00 PM: Start of the first loop.
• 7:00 PM: Start of the second loop.
• 10:00 PM: ... (Implied start of subsequent loops)

Rest Area

Each participant has a reserved space for rest between loops. Runners must be entirely self-sufficient and provide their own setup. It is mandatory to bring a 10x10 shelter (or equivalent) to create your personal space. You can set up your equipment, food, and necessary gear for the entire duration of the event. Please bring everything you need to be comfortable and ready to start each loop.

What truly makes our event unique is the incomparable atmosphere that prevails throughout the day. Added to this is a course designed for performance, with less than 30m of positive elevation gain per loop, allowing everyone to push their limits. And to top it all off, runners evolve in a breathtaking setting: the exceptional panorama of the Beaudet Reservoir, which offers a backdrop that is as peaceful as it is inspiring.
