Now in its 6th year, our high-vert, challenging 50k returns, encompassing some of Fernie’s best trails and jaw dropping views. In case that's not enough, you can add on its punchy 15km counterpart the following day - the Headwall Hustle. Those going the full distance will take on the iconic Leg 1 up and over Mt. Fernie, onto Rocky Road, down to Island Lake Lodge, before cruising through the Old Growth Forest. Leg 2 follows the old Rail Trail, heading up Gorby and through loamy Provincial Park trails. Leg 3 includes yet another iconic Fernie climb bringing you across the front of Mt. Fernie for dramatic views of town before you head down a steep descent to the Finish Line. The Headwall Hustle can be included as an add on to your action packed race weekend. The route is a tour of the ski hill, climbing all the way up through Cedar Bowl to the base of the dramatic Headwall, before traversing all the way across into Timber Bowl for a roaring descent to the Finish Line. Whether you choose the ultra or the combo, you are guaranteed views, epic climbs, amazing single track and a challenging race experience in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

• 50KM: Start/Finish at James White Park. 50km, 3,000m ascent.
• COMBO: Includes the 50km Elk Valley Ultra and the 15km Headwall Hustle.
• Headwall Hustle (Sunday July 26): Start/Finish at Fernie Alpine Resort. 15km, 840m ascent.

50KM: Limit: 200 racers. Categories: Male, Female and Non-Binary, <19, 19-49 and 50+.

• Shirts sizes aren't exchangeable. Shirts are ordered May 31st.
• Entries can be sold.
• Youth participants (<19) must contact the Race Director in advance.
