Embark Sap Run Scramble LPS

Celebrate the dark depths of winter melting away as we share the source of our Good Energy, the maple syrup season at Embark Maple Farm, through our unique Last Person Standing style adventure! Frozen forests! Slippery sidehills! Rugged ravines! You'll run, err scramble, along the logging roads, deer trails and farm tracks we traverse while harvesting maple sap on our hilly Driftless Wisconsin farm each season to craft our Maple Energy.

Complete one 5K lap per hour to continue on the adventure for as long as you can. Bring your climbing legs, as the elevation gain per lap tops ~1000ft ascent!

Additionally you'll learn about the maple sap harvesting process, enjoy delicious trail snacks from local foodie businesses, and connect with the people and place that make the Driftless so dang special. Bring family and friends as additional activities will be available, including live music, wood-fired pizzas, sugarhouse tours, and community hikes through the forest.

Cancellation Policy

Maple sap flows during the transition from Winter to Spring, and doesn't pause volatile weather. The Sap Run Scramble is run in the same spirit as the maple season, whether that's rain, sun, sleet or snow. If there is weather deemed excessively dangerous (high winds, lightening, flash flooding, etc), we will communicate plans to participants accordingly.
