Empire State Half Marathon

Event Details

The Empire State Half Marathon and 5k are on the flattest and fastest road course on the East Coast, located at Rockland Lake State Park. Participants will experience the beautiful surroundings while competing for a shiny medal and a tech race shirt.

• 8:00am: 5k Start
• 8:45am: HM Elite Introductions
• 9:00am: Half Marathon Start
• 9:15am: 5k Awards Available
• 11:15am: Half Marathon Awards Available

Course Profile

This USATF-certified loop around scenic Rockland Lake features only 135 feet of elevation gain over the 13.1 miles, ensuring a pancake flat course ideal for fast times.

Additional Information

All runners are encouraged to donate gently used sports gear to support Memorial High School in West NY, NJ. Three aid stations will provide water and Gatorade along the course. Cash prizes and medals will be awarded for various categories.
