Encompass Recreation + Samaritan Indoor Track Series

Encompass Recreation and Samaritan Indoor Track Series are proud to present a three-week indoor track program for youth ages 2 through high school. This exciting event will take place on designated Sundays at the location: 32735B County Route 29 Philadelphia NY US - 13673.

The program offers a variety of age and grade-appropriate distances for participants. Here are the courses and prices:

1. 1 Lap/125 Yards: Ages 2+3, Distance: 125 Yards, Price: $0.00

2. Incredi-Dash: 1 Lap/125 Yards (adaptive race for exceptional youth), Distance: 125 Yards, Price: $0.00

3. 2 Laps/250 Yards: Up to and Including Age 5, Distance: 250 Yards, Price: $0.00

4. 3 Laps/375 Yards: Up to and Including 1st Grade, Distance: 375 Yards, Price: $0.00

5. 4 Laps/500 Yards: Up to and Including 3rd Grade, Distance: 500 Yards, Price: $0.00

6. Super Sprint: 4 Laps/500 Yards (adaptive race for exceptional youth), Distance: 500 Yards, Price: $0.00

7. 5 Laps/625 Yards: Up to and Including 5th Grade, Distance: 625 Yards, Price: $0.00

8. 6 Laps/750 Yards: Up to and Including 7th Grade, Distance: 750 Yards, Price: $0.00

9. 7 Laps/Half Mile: Up to and Including 9th Grade, Distance: 1000 Yards, Price: $0.00

10. 14 Laps/1 Mile: Up to and Including 12th Grade, Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $0.00

The Incredi-Dash and Super Sprint races are specifically designed for exceptional youth who may require additional support during the race. Adults/helpers are allowed on the course for these divisions. However, exceptional youth are not limited to these races and may also participate in their age-appropriate divisions.

Participants are allowed to run in higher divisions but not lower divisions. For example, a 4-year-old can participate in the 4 lap/500 yard race, but a 1st grader cannot participate in the 2 lap race. Once the series has started, runners are not allowed to switch divisions or heats.

Throughout the series, runners will earn points based on their finish order. At the end of the program, awards will be presented to those with the highest cumulative points in each division. Distances may be divided into heats based on registration numbers.
