About the Event

Extremus - January 23, 2027

Welcome to Extremus presented by The Endurance Society, a long-distance winter point-to-point trek through the spectacular Adirondack wilderness known this year as the Great Range Traverse. Over 24 miles of snow, ice, rock, and wind, this course traverses remote backcountry terrain that challenges both body and mind. The course features approximately 10,000 feet of total elevation change.

Adirondack alpine terrain with varied surfaces including snow, ice, and technical rock sections. This is a remote wilderness experience. Participants should be prepared for a full day in winter conditions with variable weather and temperatures. This is an alpine style group trek and NOT a race.
