Farm & Forest All- Terrain 5K & Hog Wild Kids Fun Run

Get ready for a day of fun and fitness at the Farm & Forest All-Terrain 5K and Hog Wild Kids Fun Run on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Stamford, Western Connecticut!

This exciting event kicks off with the Hog Wild Kids Fun Run at 8:00 AM, followed by the exhilarating 5K race starting at 8:30 AM. Participants will experience a unique course that begins at the Fedele Family Plaza and winds through the picturesque Heckscher Farm, where runners will encounter a variety of friendly animals including cows, horses, llamas, goats, and donkeys. The 5K route offers a delightful two-loop design that takes runners around Bendel Pond and up to the stunning Bendel Mansion, showcasing beautiful lion statues and an Italian Renaissance fountain. As they traverse the scenic trails of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, participants will cross Otter Bridge and return through Heckscher Farm, ensuring a memorable experience filled with nature and wildlife.

Meanwhile, the Hog Wild Kids Fun Run invites children aged 5 and older to join in the excitement with a .3-mile adventure, running past cows, goats, and even a Scottish Highland cow named Petunia!
