Farm Friendzy Festival | 5K run and family fun

The Farm Friendzy Festival 5K takes you on a scenic journey through the beautiful 12 acre campus of Desert Marigold School and guides you in discovering the magic of Waldorf education here in the desert. With a commemorative race t-shirt, a snack, and a handmade “medal”. Before the race, enjoy some gentle stretching with a yoga flow led by one of DMS’s own faculty members. During the race, catch glimpses of the Waldorf student’s journey from the protected sphere of Early Childhood, through the grades, and on into the High School where they truly spread their wings. After you cross the finish line, stick around for beautiful displays and more detailed guides through the curriculum, enchanting music, and refreshments to refuel. Take a rejuvenating journey through the wellness circle to find yoga, sound healing, chair massage and more! Then join the family fun with games and activities for the young and the young at heart. Ring toss, flower pot painting, boat rides, nature crowns, obstacle course, face painting, and more.
