The 6th Annual Feed Fairfax 5K on May 2nd, 2026 is a fun 3.1 mile road race through the Greenbriar neighborhood in Fairfax. The race is organized with community partners to raise money and provide food for kids in Fairfax County suffering from food insecurity. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble Power Packs for elementary school children within our community.

LOCATION: Greenbriar Town Center Planet Fitness Parking Lot 13055-B Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy Fairfax, VA 22033

RACE START TIME: 8:00 am

PACKET PICK and SWAG: Registrant will receive a commemorative bib, custom race shirt, and custom finisher medal. Packets will be available for pick up on Friday, May 1st from 3-6 pm at Expectation Church (11924 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030). You can also pick up your packet on race day from 7-7:45 am at the race site. Be sure to register before April 18th, to guarantee a shirt.

AWARDS (based on chip time): Cash prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers, $100 for 1st place overall, $50 for second place overall, and $35 for third place overall. Additionally, overall Top 3 male/female and age group winners will receive a special medal with their age group finishing place.

THE MIGHTY MILE CHALLENGE: This year all fun run participants (1-milers) will have their race/walk timed thanks to Molly Craig, Realtor®. Participation in the Mighty Mile is optional, but your time will be posted to our results after the conclusion of the event.

The 5K will be professionally chip-timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.
