Race Details

• Bib pickup on race morning starts at 7:30am. Race starts at 9am.
• Parking at Restless Oaks parking lot (119 Pine Mountain Rd, McElhattan, PA 17748). Shuttle buses available or a 1/2 mile walk.
• The course is approximately 6.6 miles in length.
• Sticky buns and drinks will be provided after the race.

Description

The Fire on the Rocks 10K is a great intermediate level trail race held at Zindel Park in McElhattan PA. It's going to challenge each runner with lots of climbs and descents throughout the journey. The course will utilize local trails that are used for the Frozen Snot and Boulder Beast races. Expect about 1400 feet of climbing throughout the 6.6 miles.

• Right onto Black Diamond
• Right onto Change Up
• Left onto Kammerdiner
• Immediate right onto Debbies Drop
• Left onto Park Trail
• Right onto Dug Rd
• Immediate right onto Gorge Trail
• Left onto Gut Check
• Straight onto Lightning Ridge
• Left onto Final Cut
• Right onto service road
• Left across spillway bridge
• Up and across dam and down to gate
• Right onto service
• Left onto Creekside
• Around the Zindel house
• Down Reservoir Rd
• Left at gate onto Durty Dabbers trail down to the finish
