Firecracker 5K

Join us for a chip-timed race at the picturesque Omni Amelia Island Racquet Park, located at 102 Racquet Park Drive, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. The scenic course winds through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort. Running or walking is acceptable, and strollers are welcome. Pets and bicycles are not permitted on the course.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.

• Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
• Race Start: 8:00 AM EDT (5K Run/Walk), 8:45 AM EDT (Kids 1 mile Fun Run)
• Location: Racquet Park Conference Center, 102 Racquet Park, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Awards

Open Division: Top 3 Males and Top 3 Females. Age group awards for 10 & under up to 90+.

All participants will receive a finisher medal.

Timing & Scoring

The 5K race will be timed with a disposable chip attached to the bib. Bibs must be worn on the front.

Race Entry Fees

• Before April 30: $40 (adult), $20 (child 12 and under)
• Before June 27: $45 (adult), $20 (child 12 and under)
• After June 28: $55 (adult), $25 (child 12 and under)

• Friday, July 3rd & 4th: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Front Running Sports, 102 Racquet Park, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
• Race Day: 6:30 AM - 7:55 AM
