Join us on Saturday, March 21st, for the First State Half Marathon & 10K. Set in the iconic town of Newark, DE, you will run/walk through the town, neighborhoods, and paved trails. Don't miss this opportunity to log some miles and celebrate your accomplishment with friends at the famous Deer Park Tavern.

Events:

• First State Half Marathon: $59 (Increases to $69 after the first 50 people register. Registration ends March 21, 2026 at 8:00am EDT)

• First State 10K: $39 (Increases to $44 after the first 50 people register. Registration ends March 21, 2026 at 8:00am EDT)
  8:00AM EDT - 12:30PM EDT

Amenities: Custom Race Bib, Half Marathon - Performance Gender Specific Long Sleeve Shirt & Hat (After March 7th shirts are unisex), 10K - Gender Specific T-shirt (After March 7th shirts are unisex), Finisher Medal, Post Race Celebration at Deer Park with Food, Drinks, and Entertainment.

Half Marathon: Overall Male/Female, Overall Master Male/Female, Top 3 Male/Female in each age group: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
10K: Overall Male/Female, Overall Master Male/Female, Top 3 Male/Female in each age group: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

Parking: Plenty of parking around Newark. A University of Delaware Parking Garage is located across from the Deer Park Tavern (pay first).

Packet Pick Up: Day of Packet Pick Up will be located at the Deer Park Tavern from 7:00am till 7:45am. Half Marathon and 10K start at 8:00am sharp.

Course Time Limit: 3.5 hours
