Flat Branch Ultra 50K is a trail running event in Columbia, Missouri. The race starts from the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and follows a rails to trails course. Competitors will experience the beauty of the Missouri River and other natural features along the way.
The race is named after Flat Branch creek, a historic water source for early settlers in the area. The course also features a nearly 400-year-old Burr Oak tree, a significant landmark along the route.
Competitors will head southwest on the MKT trail before intersecting the Katy Trail and heading west. The turnaround point is east of Rocheport, with cutoff times at aid stations along the way.
Packet pickup will be available on race day at the start/finish line. Aid stations and drop bags will be provided for runners, and finisher awards will be given out at the finish line.
Professional photographs will be taken during the race and made available to participants at no charge. Post-race refreshments and awards will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring their own post-race food and drinks to enjoy the finish line festivities.
