Fleet Feet Free Thanksgiving Day 5k Fun Run

Join Fleet Feet San Diego for a family-friendly morning of running, walking, and giving thanks at the Fleet Feet Free Thanksgiving Day 5k Fun Run. Start your Thanksgiving Day off right by getting up and getting moving before indulging in all the food and football. The first 175 registrants will receive a limited edition 2022 Fleet Feet Thanksgiving Day 5k t-shirt, so make sure to sign up early! Stick around after the run for morning refreshments and early access to Black Friday shopping deals.

The event will start with check-in at 7:15am, and the informal 5k will begin at 8am. The route will be entirely on the sidewalk and will start and end at the Fleet Feet San Diego store. Strollers are welcome, so bring the whole family! There will also be a marked turnaround for a 1-mile option for those who prefer a shorter distance.

Please note that this is a "fun run" format, which means that the route will be marked but roads will not be closed. All runners, walkers, and participants are required to follow all pedestrian traffic laws for safety.

While the event is free, Fleet Feet San Diego is asking for donations of canned food for the San Diego Food Bank. Help make a difference in the community while enjoying a fun and active Thanksgiving morning.
