Folsom Lake Sprint & Super Sprint Triathlon

The Folsom Lake Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons are held at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake, offering a lake swim, scenic bike courses closed to traffic, and trail runs along the lake. Each triathlon includes a swim cap, post-race refreshments, a pair of TBF Racing socks, and a custom Folsom Lake Triathlon Finisher Hat. Commemorative race t-shirts are available for $20 when ordered before May 3rd. Awards will be given to the top three in each ten-year age group for both races, and Relay Team awards for the Top team in each Division of Male, Female, and Coed for the Sprint Triathlon.

Distances:

• Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon: 400-yard swim, 5-mile bike, 2-mile run
• Folsom Lake Sprint Triathlon: 1/2-mile swim, 10-mile bike, 3-mile run

Packet Pick Up: Race morning at the race venue from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Start Times:

• Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon: 8 a.m. (waves to be announced)
• Folsom Lake Sprint Triathlon: 9 a.m. (waves to be announced)

Transition Area: First-come, first-served basis, except for reserved bike racks for TRI Clubs. Athletes only. No glass or bottles allowed.

Race for FREE: Volunteer Program offers a chance to earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher towards entry fees. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. Email [email protected] to reserve a position.

Refund and Transfer Information: No refunds. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $25 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
