For Kids' Sake International Superhero 5K

The 13th For Kids' Sake International Superhero 5K is back! This year's Superhero 5K will be a hybrid race - you can join us at the starting line on Saturday, September 20, at 9am at Turley Park (1010 N. Glenview Dr, Carbondale, IL) or run/walk anywhere in the universe!

Superheroes save lives, which is exactly what you do when you participate in this race. All proceeds support, educate, and empower children, orphans, students, and families with the basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education in Bangladesh, The Gambia, and Southern Illinois.

Fundraising Goal: Raise $350+ to provide basic needs & education for kids and you'll receive an FKSI Carhartt backpack!

Registration Deadlines & Pricing:

• Pre-Register by Thursday, Sept. 4th to guarantee your t-shirt.
• Adults: $25
• Kids (17 & under): $15

Race Packet Pick-up: Friday, Sept 19, 5-6pm at Turley Park in Carbondale, IL OR shipping available.

Day of Registration: Opens at 8:00am; t-shirts available while supplies last.

Awards & Prizes: Win prizes for Most Money Raised, Fastest Times, Best Superhero Costumes, and more. Race awards for 1st and 2nd place in each 5-year age category (in-person only).

Courses:

• In-person: Certified Superhero 5K course with chip timing.
• Virtual: Run/walk your 5K anywhere and log results on the race website.
