Fort Frenzy Ultra Festival - August 15, 2026

This event is a qualifier for The Cherokee Ultra in 2027. Participants can compete in various endurance races including 3 Hour, 6 Hour, 6 Hour Ruck, 12 Hour, and 24 HOUR options. Achieving 100 miles in the 24-hour race earns a buckle. A $500 cash prize is offered for the winner who breaks the 24-hour course record of 113.15 miles, sponsored by UNRUNNING.

The Tennessee Double Ultra Festival is also available, allowing participants to run both the Fort Frenzy Ultra Festival 24 Hour and the Three Sisters Ultra Festival 24 Hour for a combined custom medal and plaque.

The event takes place at Fort Loudon State Historic Park on Tellico Lake in Vonore, TN, offering beautiful views and a well-maintained, runnable 3.65-mile loop with approximately 500 feet of elevation gain per loop. The trail is 100% runnable and 99% on trail, with a paved section at the start/end pavilion.

6 hr Ruck Division:

• Men: 30lb dry pack
• Female: 15lb dry pack
• Boys under 15: 20lbs
• Girls under 15: 10lbs
• Finishers receive a patch upon official weigh-in and race completion.

Start Times: All endurance races start at 8 AM on August 15, 2026. Packet pickup is available on August 13th from 6:00-8:00 PM and on race morning at 7 AM.

Swag and Awards: Custom Fort Frenzy shirts are guaranteed for registrations by July 15, 2026. Finisher awards, top 3 overall male/female medals for each distance, and patches for the ruck division are provided. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female winners in each distance.
