Froggy Mountain boasts one of the most challenging courses on the east coast with our 500 feet of vertical gain per 1 mile loop. We are home of the Froggy Mountain 50/100. This year we're introducing an exciting shorter distance race. Come test your metal at our sweet-baby-ultra 50k that you'll have 16 hrs to complete. We offer free camping for you and your crew/ family, fully stocked aid station every mile with excellent hot meals prepared for you. Cool -as- heck vibe, runners and course, as well as our famous croaking frogs, near the beautiful Southern Virginia mountain town of Galax.

Where to stay: We have free car or tent camping here at Froggy Mountain, and 2 rooms for rent in our air bnb with a shared kitchen for $60 a night, otherwise there are a few hotels available in nearby Galax.
