GCTC Rocket Man Run 5K & Fun Walk
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
Location: Gordon Cooper Technology Center, One John C. Bruton Blvd., Shawnee, Oklahoma
Events:
- Rocket Man 5K Run: $30, 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM CDT
- Fun Walk: $30, 7:45 AM - 10:00 AM CDT
- Support: $30, 7:45 AM - 10:00 AM CDT
Registration Opens: April 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM CDT
Course: Out and back with inclines/hills. 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk.
Timing: 5K participants will be chip timed. Fun Walk participants will not be timed, but a kiosk will be available to scan bibs for a printout of time.
Awards: Top 25 overall finishers receive a commemorative medal.
Hospitality: Refreshments will be available after the race.
Packet Pickup: Friday, August 21, 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the Marty Lewis Public Safety Center.
