Looking to restart your fitness journey? Join us for Get Back into Running at King George V Playing Fields! This short running course will take you from 2k back to 5k using a combination of sessions focusing on strength and endurance - speed comes later.
This is a five week programme using the second half of the tried and tested C25K course plus a few extra tricks we have to help with your running. We will take a short break at half term. Runs will start at 6.15pm with warm up alongside the Fliers.
To benefit from this course you will need to be running with us each week and schedule time for two additional homework runs each week. We take a short break over half term week.
As we head into autumn, running lights and reflective gear will be needed but we know how to source these at low cost so will guide you on low cost kit to get for safety. You can also join Stanbridge Fliers facebook group for moral support and accountability.
We don't charge for this course but we ask that you consider the commitment involved before grabbing your ticket. Please also be sure to consider your physical fitness and suitability for this type of running course.
