Description

Join us for the annual JBA 5K on April 25, 2026, at the Gilbert School. The event will run from 10 AM to 2 PM, beginning with registration and check-in, followed by opening remarks, the run beginning at 11AM, and concluding with the presentation of donations to our chosen foundations. We will come together to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention in loving memory of Joseph and Brian. This event is dedicated to supporting two vital organizations: Hope for Depression, which focuses on innovative research and treatment options for depression, and the JED Foundation, which provides support for families and school-aged children struggling with mental health challenges. Participants will have the option to donate raised funds to either foundation, also having the ability to create their own fundraiser. Fundraising kicks off on February 25, 2026 and continues until the day of the event. The day will feature a mapped course for the 3.2-mile walk/run, (1-mile route available) along with resources from local vendors dedicated to mental health and family support. Together, we can make a difference in our community!
