Glowing Gobbler 5K

Race Info

Before the turkey and the stuffing take part the most LIT holiday run of the season. The Glowing Gobbler 5K is an evening race that gives runners a unique opportunity to run through Newport News Park's Celebration In Lights. Get in the holiday spirit and have a little run while you are at it!

Entry fees are non-refundable; race numbers and entries cannot be transferred to other persons. No exceptions. This means once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, and you may not give or sell your number or timing chip to anyone else.

Gear Check will be available at the Start Line and will be moved to the Finish Line area for pickup.

Parking

Parking will take place at Woodside High School, a short 1/4 mile walk from the Start Line. The address is 13450 Woodside Ln, Newport News, VA 23608. Click here for a map.

Awards

The top 3 male & female runner awards will be presented on-site at 7:30PM at the Deer Run golf course clubhouse. Make plans to stick around for a few and grab a cold drink or hot sandwich from Fairways BBQ & Grill before heading home for the holiday!
