Experience Historic Cramerton at our Goat Island Games 5 Mile and 5K! This event celebrates America's 250th anniversary and takes place at Goat Island Park and Greenway.

When: May 2, 2026 at 8:30 AM EDT

Location: Goat Island Park and Greenway, 141 8th Avenue, Cramerton, NC 28032

Distances Offered:

• 5K: Chip timed. You can walk or run.
• 5 Mile: Chip timed. There is a 1 hour and 15 minute cutoff time (15 minutes per mile pace).

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and top three male and female finishers in various age groups for both the 5K and 5 Mile races.

Race Series & History:

The Goat Island Games began in 2016 and is part of the Run Gaston Race Series and an official Gaston 250 event.

Registration Includes:

• Chip-timed race bib
• Official race shirt (guaranteed if registered by April 13)
• Awards for overall and age-group winners

• Friday, May 1st: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Town of Cramerton C.B. Huss Recreation Center (8 Julian St, Cramerton, NC 28032)
• Friday, May 1st: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Confluence South Fork (117 Center St, Cramerton, NC 28032)
• Saturday, May 2nd: 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM at Start/Finish Line

Registration Fees:

• 5K: $34.09 (Jan 15 – Apr 30)
• 5 Mile: $44.79 (Jan 15 – Apr 30)

Race is rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable.
