Halloween Howl 5K/1K Fun Run

Join us for the 6th annual Canine Pet Rescue fundraiser/Halloween Howl event at Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, GA. Lace up your running shoes and bring your furry friends for a fun-filled day of running, walking, and costumes! The event offers a 5K run/walk, a 1K run/walk, and a virtual 5K option. The 1K is perfect for small or senior dogs, kids, and anyone who wants to participate in a shorter distance. All proceeds from the event go towards saving dogs, rehabilitating them, housing them, and placing them in new loving homes.

The event will feature a costume contest for kids, adults, and pups, with an award ceremony after the race. We will also be selling raffle tickets for some fun prizes. Early packet pickups are available on Friday, 10/13/23, and registration will begin at 8:15am on race day, Saturday, 10/14/23. The 5K will start promptly at 9AM, followed by the 1K Fun Run at 10AM.

Please make sure your dog(s) are current on all their vaccines, wearing an ID tag, on a 6ft or less leash, and in control. No retractable leashes are allowed, and dogs must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and please make sure to clean up after your pups.

Registration fees range from $25-$35, and T-shirts are not guaranteed after the signup deadline of 10/07/22. Pre-registration is over on 10/07/22, but feel free to register on race day. Come out and support a great cause while having a howling good time!
