About the Event
Race Info
The Hawg Run is a 5K event celebrating the 40th Annual Barbecue Festival. All proceeds go directly to providing scholarships for after school programs, summer camp, youth sports, swim lessons, and YMCA memberships for deserving children and families in our community.
Course Location & Description
The event will start at the J. Smith Young YMCA - 119 W. 3rd Avenue. The route goes through neighborhoods to Grimes Park and back to the Y.
Registration & Parking
All registration is online at hawgrun.com. Same-day registration will be located in the parking lot of J. Smith Young YMCA at 119 W. 3rd Ave. Parking will be at a premium and most lots will charge $5.00. Please allow extra time to navigate detours on the morning of the race.
T-Shirt Information: All pre-registered entries received before 9/28 include an Official Hawg Run T-Shirt. T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after 9/28.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be at the J. Smith Young YMCA at 119 West 3rd Avenue - Lexington, NC 27292 on:
- Friday, October 24 from 4-6 pm
- Saturday, October 25 from 6-6:45 am
