Heroes Hot Oil 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk

Join us for the annual Heroes Hot Oil 5K and 1 mile run/walk benefitting the Heroes of the St. Pete Police and Fire Rescue. The event takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM EDT at Colony Grill in downtown St. Petersburg.

This event is presented by Colony Grill and supports first responders and their families in St. Pete. The Heroes organization provides financial support during critical incidents or tragic circumstances.

The course is described as relatively flat and suitable for all levels of runners and walkers. Race check-in is on event day only. Participants are encouraged to park close to Colony Grill at 670 Central Avenue, St. Pete.

Registration includes a Colony Pizza HOT OIL RUN T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, a timed run course, music, local beer samples, and Colony Grill’s famous “hot oil” bar-style pizza at the post-race street party.

The mission of the Heroes of the St. Pete Police and Fire, Inc. is to honor fallen St. Petersburg police officers and firefighters and to provide financial support to assist first responders and their families during a crisis or tragedy.
