Hiester Cares 5K Run-Walk to Prevent

Join us for the Hiester Cares 5K Run-Walk to Prevent, a race organized by the Hiester Cares Foundation to raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Lace up your running shoes and get ready to hit the pavement on the 5K course, which is entirely on the campus of Fuquay Varina High School and is USATF certified. The course is mostly on broad sidewalks, making it accessible to runners and walkers of all levels.

Registration for the race is open now, with prices ranging from $30.00 to $35.00. All participants will receive a race t-shirt and swag bag. Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women overall, as well as the top 3 men and women in various age groups, including 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

By participating in this event, you'll not only get a great workout and have fun with fellow runners and walkers, but you'll also be supporting a great cause.
