Are you ready to take on the ultimate High Bridge Challenge? The High Bridge Challenge is your chance to conquer not just one, but two Virginia Adventures races on the iconic High Bridge Trail State Park. It's the perfect blend of summer heat, winter chill, and non-stop bragging rights!

Finish both the Night Train in June and the Freight Train in December to earn a special award (and a lifetime of trail cred).

Combo Distances:

• 26k Combo: Night Train 5k + Freight Train Half Marathon
• Marathon Combo: Night Train Half Marathon + Freight Train Half Marathon (26.2 miles total!)
• 100k Combo: Night Train 50k + Freight Train 50k
• 150k Combo: Night Train 50k + Freight Train 100k

Complete your chosen combo distance at Freight Train, and you’ll walk away with a one-of-a-kind award to celebrate your High Bridge domination.

What to Expect:

Both races are held on the stunning and historic High Bridge Trail. This old rail trail-turned-state-park is perfect for runners looking for flat terrain with a side of history and scenic views.

• Night Train (June 14): Start at sunset, run under a sky filled with fireflies and moonlight, and cross the iconic bridge to finish. Just don’t let the summer heat fool you—this course is as challenging as it is beautiful.
• Freight Train (December 6): Cool temps, longer distances, and a chance to fly on this fast course. You'll cross the bridge twice and enjoy every step of this winter adventure.

Whether you're running a 5k or pushing for the full 150k, these races are all about embracing the journey, enjoying the scenery, and finishing strong.
