High Valley Half

About the High Valley Half

The High Valley Half is a gorgeous point to point half marathon that starts in Cove, OR and ends in Union. Runners will start at Dollar's Corner and head out of town to the west. After about a 1/2 mile, runners will take a left onto High Valley Rd and follow it to the finish line at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. Racing on gravel most of the way, you're in for beautiful views and breathtaking climbs (nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain, but don't worry—what comes up, must come down!) in this one-of-a-kind Eastern Oregon half marathon.

Details

• Packet pick up will happen on race day starting at 6am.
• The race starts at 7am (no early starts).
• Restrooms at the starting line are limited to one in the laundromat, so come prepared! There will be restrooms at the finish but none along the course.
• You'll find aid stations with water and fuel just after miles 4, 7, and 11.
• This is a point to point race, with no shuttle back to the starting line. Make sure you have transportation arranged for yourself!
• Any gear left at the start will be left in an unattended pile and available for pick up until late afternoon. Anything not picked up will be donated to local runners. Any clothes left on course will be donated.
• Race t-shirts come with registration until May 31, 2026.
