HRCA Independence Day 5K

Kick off your 4th of July with a family-friendly and festive 5K starting on Saturday, July 4, at 7:30 a.m.! This fun run/walk is perfect for first-time 5K participants, elite runners, kids, parents with strollers, and everyone in between - even your furry friend!

After the race, head over to Highlands Ranch Parkway to catch the annual HRCA 4th of July Parade!

We will be hiding a red, white, and blue kettlebell out on the course worth $100 to whomever finds it and brings it back to the finish!

Race Amenities

• Race t-shirt ( men's , women's , and youth sizing available)
• Custom bib
• All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from Flippin' Flap Jacks for participants
• One beer provided by Living The Dream Brewing Company (age 21+)

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up Dates: TBD

Race Day Packet Pickup: You will be able to pick up your timing bib and race shirt beginning at 6:30 a.m. on race morning. Athletes should expect long lines and pre-race packet pickup is preferred! Race day registration will be available online until the start of the race but we will not be accepting cash or card payments on site. All registrations must be done online.

Course Description

Starting and finishing on Dorchester Street, the course will take runners north to Plaza Drive and back to Town Center South via Broadway and Highlands Ranch Pkwy. There will be one aid station available on the course that will offer water.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the following top 3 participants in the following male and female categories: Overall, 7 and under, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
