Hurricane Creek Half Marathon

Hurricane Creek Half Marathon is a challenging and scenic running event taking place in Joseph, Oregon on May 25, 2024. The event includes a Half Marathon, 5 Mile, 5k, and a 1 Mile Kids Run.

Race Details

Registration is open until May 16th with varying prices for each race category. Packet pickup is available on May 24th and race day. Participants are encouraged to come prepared for varying weather conditions.

Reason for the Event

The mission of Runners of the Sage is to promote active and healthy lifestyles. The event also raises funds for the Wallowa Land Trust to protect the rural nature of Wallowa County.

Course Description

The Half Marathon course is hilly and challenging, offering scenic views of the Wallowa Mountains and more. The 5 Mile and 5k courses are out and back road runs.

Itinerary

The event schedule includes various race start times, a post-race lunch, and a post-race yoga session. Awards will be given to top finishers in each race category.
