ICA 5K For Education

Hosted by Independence Classical Academy, this is the 4th Annual 5K for Education. The event takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM EST at Causeway Cove Marina & RV Park.

This fast & flat 5K course is perfect for runners of all ages and skills, featuring a well-laid-out course along the water with chip timing and live results.

All participants will receive chip timing, a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks. Participants 17 & under receive a discounted price automatically applied during registration.

About Independence Classical Academy: A small, independent, tuition-free charter school in Fort Pierce offering a classical, liberal arts education for students in grades K-8. They are hosting this 5k to show the community their love of fitness and raise awareness for their educational method.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens
• 7:45 AM - Opening Ceremony
• 8:00 AM - Race Start
• 8:45 AM - Awards Ceremony

Timing & Awards:

Chip Timing provided by Southern Timing, LLC with LIVE results. Awards will be given in the 5K to the top 3 male & female finishers in each category (Overall, 5 & Under, 6-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
