The Jonquil City Jog 5K is an annual event in Smyrna, GA, supporting the Campbell High School Educational Foundation and Support Smyrna. This USATF certified route starts and finishes at Smyrna City Hall and is an out and back on Atlanta Road. The route is described as flat and fast, suitable for achieving an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying time.

Awards include Kenny's Key Lime Pies for first-place finishers, Overall and Master's Men's and Women's finishers, and top 3 male/female in various age groups for the "Timed" 5K. Finisher ribbons for 1K and Tot Trot participants. Commemorative race T-shirts for registered participants (excludes specific fun run/tot trot options). XXL T-shirts have a $2.00 surcharge.

Registration & Schedule

Online registration is open through Race Day - Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. Race number pick-up and race day registration begin at 6:45 am in front of Smyrna City Hall. Groups of 10+ may receive a $3.00 per person discount on 5K registration (online only).

Parking is available in the lots surrounding the downtown Smyrna Business District. Use Smyrna City Hall address (2800 King Street; Smyrna, GA 30080) to find the race site.

Policy for Strollers & Baby Joggers

Due to the route being primarily out and back on Atlanta Road with adjacent vehicle traffic, strollers and baby joggers are not considered a safe environment and their use is at the participant's discretion and responsibility.
